Healthy Practices
We encourage the following tips to maintain a healthy and safe
environment for your children and family:
Daily Healthy Practices
We train and encourage our caregivers and children to do the following:
• Wash their hands effectively many times throughout the day.
• Cough or sneeze into their elbow, instead of into their hand or the air.
• Sanitize surfaces and mouthed toys frequently throughout the day.
• Get plenty of rest.
Parents and children should:
• Wash their hands when arriving and before leaving the school.
• Cough or sneeze into their elbow, instead of into their hand or the air.
• Get plenty of rest.
• Eat healthy and drink plenty of fluids.
• Report illnesses to your director.
• Do not come to school if you are not feeling well.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
Following CDC guidance, we have enhanced our already vigorous health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment. To include but not limited to:
Taking Temperatures Upon Arrival: No one (child or staff) are permitted inside the building with a temperature of 100.4 or above.

Limited Building Access: To help maintain social distancing, parents/guardians check in at the front door. Visitors and vendors are not permitted in the building.

Safe Dining: We are no longer family style dining. Teachers are serving the children to help eliminate germs from spreading.

Cleaning & Sanitizing: Practices in place to include, handwashing and sanitizing toys, any/all surfaces, playgrounds, common areas. High traffic areas are cleaned and sanitized to include, railings, door knobs/handles, faucets, light switches, doors, etc.

Wellness Checks: Periodic wellness checks are done throughout the day to ensure that our families are staying healthy while in the building.
